Hi, I’m Lesley

I’m the founder of Grace-Filled Truth. I help the silently suffering Christian woman overcome the deep wounds of shame so that she can effectively serve God with the gifts and talents He’s given her.

For the past 15 plus years, I’ve had the privilege of graciously speaking Truth, God’s truth, into the hearts and lives of brokenhearted women. I have a Master’s in Biblical Counseling from Trinity College & Seminary in Newburgh, IN.   I am also an ACBC certified Biblical Counselor. I do much of my Biblical Counseling through my home church, Spring Lake Church, in Green Bay.

What is crazy to me is that I was never going to counsel. But when God showed me that He could (and would) my most sinful choice for His glory, His grace ignited a passion to walk alongside other silently suffering women. Sometimes we choose how we will disobey Him and sometimes someone else’s disobedient choices profoundly effect our lives. I love pointing all broken and hurting women to Christ but my heart is most specifically for the woman who’s been broken by the sin of abortion.

My husband, Dave, and I met at Bethel University in St. Paul, MN. We’ve been married 38 years!  For the last 34 years, we’ve lived in the country just outside of Green Bay, WI. I love it! I am originally from the Chicago area … which make me a city-girl-turned-country! We are blessed to have an amazing family.

Our son, Jon, is married to his high school sweetheart, Cassaundra!  He is a Dr. of Chiropractic at Advantage Chiropractic which is the office he grew up going to.  They have two beautiful girls and a son: Kendall, Kinsley and Klayton.

We have two amazing daughters!  Our oldest, Heather, also married her high school sweetheart, Matt, on New Year’s Eve in 2016!  Matt is a 3rd generation farmer and when Heather is not home with Mila, Tatum, and Lily, she works part-time at a financial wealth management company.

Our youngest, Courtney, and her husband, Noah live in Egan, Minnesota with our only grand-pup, Miss Phoebe. As I type this, they are eagerly awaiting the arrive of their first child! Noah is a Data Engineer with a company out of California and Courtney, will be enjoying time with baby and then will be on the hunt for a new job.

My Prayer for you is . . .

That the words of mine, on this site, will be as if you and I have just had a sweet little soul-filling chat over coffee in some quiet corner in the cutest coffee shop! I pray that you will be stirred, challenged and that you’ll hungry and thirsty for more of His righteousness.
